The Annie H. Ryder Memorial Fellowship
Fund raised by friends and students of Annie H. Ryder, late of Medford, Massachusetts in 1921 – offering a Graduate Fellowship to women students who teach or are preparing to teach. First award made in 1922. Fellowship is for one year of graduate study and must be used during that period or returned. Award in recent years has been in the range of $1000 to $4000.

In addition to the programs offered, there is an opportunity to become part of the Political Action Corps. This is a state-sponsored initiative, with a focus on advocacy and public policy that supports women and girls. Members who take part will lobby policy makers via email, phone calls, and letter writing. If you are not already a part of the Action Corps, please contact AAUW-MA Public Policy Chair.

Wednesday, 28 September, 6:00 p.m., we will have Katie Donovan, co-president, AAUW Massachusetts give an overview of AAUW, along with state and national initiatives. Location will be Northeastern University, Social Justice Resource Center, 106 St. Stephen St., Boston, 02115.
Directions: By MBTA: exit at the Northeastern T Stop. Heading “outbound,” turn right on Opera Place. St Stephen St. will be a one block walk, 106 is at the corner of Opera Place and St. Stephen St. If driving, take Huntington Ave. Turn onto Massachusetts Avenue, heading towards Cambridge. Take the first left onto Saint Stephen St. The Social Justice Research Center will be a few blocks down the street on your left. There is a small parking lot near the location and usually on-street parking. Or, parking is available at the Gainsborough Garage, 10 Gainsborough St.
